Gamelan Playtime

Gamelan Playtime was an interactive installation which I produced in collaboration with designers Arlete Castelo and Melissa Mongiat from Central St. Martin’s College for London’s Royal Festival Hall. The installation played sounds from an indonesian musical ensemble, based on human proximity and motion. My contribution was the technical design of the installation, the sensor circuits, and sound input. A colleague (Jason Geistweidt) assisted with the Max/MSP coding. I gave a talk about this in Nov 05, at dorkbotlondon, which is cool event that everyone should know about. Further details about this project are here.
